Police, fire and ambulance calls

9:27 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a fraud in the 400 block of Rollingstone Drive. Officers determined a bank issued the same card number to two people. It was a bank error.

9:30 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the first block of Cypress Court. A woman said there was a footprint in the snow outside her residence, and her dog barked once the previous night.



9:43 a.m. North Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person having a seizure in the 26900 block of Eagle Lane.

10:45 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person in the 800 block of Weiss Circle who had an unauthorized charge on a debit card.



11:42 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a driver weaving at Third Street and Lincoln Avenue. The driver was contacted and was fine. The driver was looking for a car lost the previous night. The driver would not elaborate.

12:35 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a theft in the 700 block of Marketplace Plaza. A snowboard rented in February was never returned.

1:29 p.m. Officers were called to a report of shoplifting in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. A man was acting strange in the store, and officers saw him walk out with a cart filled with $200 worth of groceries. The 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of theft.

1:29 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who was almost hit by a car in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

4:15 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person driving erratically at Ninth Street and Lincoln Avenue.

4:25 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person driving slowly at a parking lot in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

4:27 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost a wallet in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

5:22 p.m. Officers were called to a report of gas stolen from a station in the 500 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

5:27 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person with trauma at Steamboat Springs High School.

6:22 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a Craigslist scam involving a rental property.

6:43 p.m. Officers stopped a car near Owl Hoot Trail. The 45-year-old female driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

7:53 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident at Sixth Street and Lincoln Avenue. A mother said her daughter was stopped by two Mormon women, and they prayed with her. The mother thought that was suspicious.

8:46 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a homeless person sleeping above the post office. No one could be located.

10:58 p.m. Officers were called to a report of loud music in the 500 block of Anglers Drive.

11:25 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who heard what they thought was a mountain lion at Colorado Mountain College. The lion could not be located.
