Police, fire and ambulance calls


9:05 a.m.
Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to check on an older woman walking in the middle of the road at Lincoln Avenue and 12th Street. She could not be located.

9:15 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza who received suspicious phone calls related to bill collections and loans.



3:04 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help an unconscious person at Colorado Mountain College.

4:21 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person in the 2600 block of Copper Ridge Circle who received strange phone calls.



4:58 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman in the 3100 block of Après Ski Way who received a call from a man who was making strange noises. The noises reportedly sounded sexual.

5:07 p.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a man who had just gotten off a bus with a bunch of luggage. It did not appear as if the man knew where he was going. He got on another bus.

7:03 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a fight at Hayden High School.

9:05 p.m. Officers were called to check on a diabetic person in the 1400 block of Morgan Court. The person was fine.

11:44 p.m. Officers contacted a woman who was in a car outside a church in the 500 block of Oak Street. The woman said she had been praying.
