Police, fire and ambulance calls

7:04 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue. A former tenant insisted some of his things were locked in a room.

8:04 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a $2,000 mountain bike stolen off a car in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. It was recovered.



8:36 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a 3-year-old child who accidentally shot himself at a home in the Stagecoach area. The boy died at Yampa Valley Medical Center.

9:17 a.m. Officers were called to a report of portable toilets knocked over at Howelsen Hill.



9:22 a.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with chest pain in the 2200 block of Storm Meadow.

11:22 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a mountain bike stolen at Seventh Street and Lincoln Avenue.

11:23 a.m. Officers were called to a report of people walking down Lincoln Avenue carrying handguns. It is not illegal to openly carry handguns in Colorado.

3:59 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car window broken in the 2000 block of Snow Bowl Plaza.

7:02 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bike stolen in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue.

7:30 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with a medical problem in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue.

7:32 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 2800 block of Burgess Creek Road. Someone thought a person entered their room.

8:50 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help an unconscious person at Thunderhead Lodge.

9:14 p.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 31000 block of Broken Talon Trail.

9:44 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bike stolen in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.

9:44 p.m. Officers were called to a report of items stolen from a glove box in the 1200 block of Manitou Avenue.
