Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:51 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of trespassing at a hotel in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court. A security guard caught two people having sex in the parking garage. They were gone when officers arrived.

7:41 a.m. A found wallet was turned in at the police station. It was returned to the owner.



9:15 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person driving recklessly at Anglers Drive and South Lincoln Avenue. Officers followed the vehicle and did not witness anything illegal.

11:09 a.m. Officers were called to a report of person who wanted to complain about a car near mile marker 118 on U.S. Highway 40. The car was covered in mud so the brake lights were not visible, and the car was braking suddenly. The car could not be located.



11:32 a.m. Officers were called to a report of jewelry stolen at a campground in the 3600 block of Lincoln Avenue. It was valued at less than $1,000.

12:15 p.m. North Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who was bleeding at Steamboat Lake.

1:16 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who possibly had a stroke in the 39300 block of Amethyst Drive.

2:47 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car keyed at Colorado Mountain College.

3:53 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance at a pot shop in the 2800 block of Downhill Plaza. An employee did not want to sell to a customer, and they got into an argument.

3:56 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an assault in the 3300 block of Covey Circle. A woman said she was pushed by her male neighbor. They had gotten into an argument over the garage door being open. The man was given a ticket for harassment.

4:07 p.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who attempted suicide.

4:27 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost a wallet at the post office. It was found.

4:36 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman who said she was pushed by an elderly lady during a dispute over parking in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police did not believe the elderly lady pushed anyone.

5:38 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a cell phone lost at a grocery store in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue.

8:06 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car horn that was stuck and sounding in the 2600 block of Abbey Road.

9:13 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance at the Gondola Transit Center. A man hit another man after getting off the gondola. The man was given a ticket for harassment.

10:17 p.m. Officers were called to a report of loud music in the 3300 block of Après Ski Way.
