Police, fire and ambulance calls

4:03 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a car in a snowbank near mile marker 136 on U.S. Highway 40. A 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and careless driving.

8:26 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident at a restaurant in the 3100 block of South Lincoln Avenue. The manager said some customers had unauthorized charges on their credit cards.



9:36 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to help a diabetic person in the 40400 block of Anchor Way.

11:48 a.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a sick person in the 100 block of Bell Avenue.



1:24 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to transport an injured skier to Yampa Valley Medical Center. They transported three other skiers during the day.

3:20 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who was having difficulty breathing in the first block of Highlands Circle.

3:54 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a driver who was hit by another driver, who then drove away, at Walton Creek Road and South Lincoln Avenue.

4:19 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost a driver’s license while skiing.

5:31 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman who was bitten in the face while separating her two dogs at Third and Oak streets. She had minor injuries.

6:28 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 2000 block of Walton Creek Road.

6:43 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who fainted at a hotel in the 700 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

6:47 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to a report of a sprinkler going off at a condo complex in the 1100 block of Bangtail Way. The water flooded a unit and got into three other units below.

7:22 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with chest pain in the 1000 block of Crawford Avenue.

9:04 p.m. Oak Creek firefighters were called to help a person who was having difficulty breathing in the 29900 block of Rock Point Trail.

10:53 p.m. Officers investigated a suspicious car on Laurel Lane. A juvenile was cited for illegal possession of marijuana.
