12:02 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of several teenagers throwing eggs at a car being driven in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive. The teenagers were gone when police arrived.
1:19 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken man who was stumbling at Chinook Lane and Walton Creek Road. The man was taken to detox and issued a citation for possessing alcohol as a minor.
2:35 a.m. Officers were called to a report of two roommates who were not getting along in the 1300 block of Indian Trails. The argument was mediated by police.
2:42 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious person in the 700 block of Howelsen Place. A property owner said there were two intoxicated people who didn’t appear to live there hanging out in a private part of the complex. The people were gone when officers were gone.
8:47 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance at a campground in the 3600 block of Lincoln Avenue. A daughter was trying to board a bus, and the mother didn’t want her to leave. The argument was mediated. The daughter ran away later in the day and returned Monday.
9:59 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a theft of a pair of gloves from the 1400 block of Pine Grove Road.
11:23 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a vehicle that was egged in the 2000 block of Cornice Road.
12:37 p.m. Hayden Police Department officers were called to a report of criminal mischief in the 200 block of West Jefferson Avenue.
2:28 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a wallet found in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue.
3:26 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to put out a porch fire in the 34000 block of Routt County Road 14. Fire Chief Mel Stewart said the fire apparently was caused by a propane-powered grill that was being used to slow cook meat. The fire spread to the roof of the home and caused significant damage. The people inside the home made it out safely and were able to stay with family members nearby. Steamboat firefighters were assisted by firefighters and a tender from Oak Creek.
4:18 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who was sleeping in a tent near Gloria Gossard Parkway.
5:25 p.m. Officers were called to a report of criminal mischief in the first block of Anglers Drive. A juvenile threw a rock at someone’s car and caused minor damage. The situation was handled civilly.
6:09 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who stole about $20 worth of merchandise in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.
