Police, fire and ambulance calls

8:19 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a vehicle that was driven into a bunch of cluster mailboxes at Mount Werner Road and Montview Lane. The driver took off without reporting the damage.

11:27 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to a report of a home that had been struck by lightning in the 23000 block of Fawn Creek Road. A door had been blown out of its frame, a window had been blown out and there were multiple outlets and light switches charred throughout the residence.



12:05 p.m. Officers were called to a complaint about a man who was driving a motorcycle recklessly at 13th Street and Lincoln Avenue.

4:13 p.m. Officers were called to a complaint about a driver who appeared to be smoking marijuana while traveling near 11th Street and Lincoln Avenue. Police were unable to locate the vehicle.



5:03 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a wallet that was found at the Gondola Transit Center.

8:03 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a boy who was shoplifting at a grocery store in Central Park Plaza. The boy was warned.

10:02 p.m. Officers were called to a complaint about a semi-truck that was idling at a business in the 1100 block of 13th Street.
