Police, fire and ambulance calls
12:40 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a car alarm that kept going off in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle. The owner of the car shut off the alarm.
1:19 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a fight in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.
6:34 a.m. Officers were called to a complaint about a driver who was driving eratically at U.S. Highway 40 and Elk River Road. A number of people called about the driver and said they almost hit other drivers. The driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
10:01 a.m. Officers were called to a report of someone who was receiving unwanted text messages at a residence off of Hilltop Parkway.
11:08 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident at a gas station on Anglers Drive. Someone found a pile of mail at the gas station and thought it was weird.
11:12 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who didn’t pay for fuel in the 500 block of South Lincoln Avenue.
11:44 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a teenage brother and sister who were arguing in the 800 block of Majestic Circle. One of the siblings called the police on the other one. Police mediated the argument.
2:46 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disorderly customer who was causing a disturbance at a sporting goods store in the 700 block of Marketplace Plaza. The customer refused to leave when asked. The man eventually left before officers arrived.
4:36 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bike that was stolen from the 2000 block of Curve Plaza.
6:07 p.m. Officers and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to a report of an intoxicated man in his late 20s who was yelling and flipping off cars near the Fish Creek Mobile Home Park. The man then fell down. He was taken to the hospital due to his level of intoxication.
7:36 p.m. Officers were called to a report of graffiti spraypainted on an electrical box near the Yampa River Core Trail.
10:30 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a driver who was “acting crazy” in the parking lot of Dream Island Plaza. The driver was gone when officers arrived.
