Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:07 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a complaint about fireworks in the 2300 block of Val D ‘Isere Circle.

12:19 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken person at Eighth and Yampa streets. A sober friend came and got the person.



12:24 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Fish Creek Falls Road.

12:58 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance between a landlord and a tenant in the 1100 block of Soda Ridge Way. One person was intoxicated, and police said some of the arguing was related to alcohol. Police mediated the situation.



1:21 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken man who was trying to crash a private party at a Mexican restaurant in the 1700 block of Central Park Drive. The drunken man was given a courtesy ride home.

3:04 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked at River Creek Park. Police discovered the owner of the vehicle was fishing, and everything was fine.

8:55 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious person who was wandering up and down Oak Street. Police were unable to locate the person.

11:54 a.m. Officers were called to a report of 10 people on motorcycles drinking beer outside of a liquor store in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza. The motorcyclists were gone when officers arrived.

1:37 p.m. Officers and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue paramedics were called to a report of a two-vehicle accident at Fifth Street and Lincoln Avenue. One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

2:46 p.m. Paramedics were called to a report of a two-vehicle accident at U.S. Highway 40 and Downhill Drive. A person who had gotten a cut on his or her forehead during the accident was taken to the hospital.

3:47 p.m. Officers were called to help a person who had twisted their ankle in the 500 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

5:12 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious person in the 3100 block of Columbine Drive. Someone wanted advice on how to deal with an issue they were having with a neighbor.
