12:25 a.m. Officers were called to a complaint about loud noises at a hotel in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court. Police got everyone to quiet down.

12:32 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a backpack that was stolen from a vehicle that was left unlocked at Fifth and Yampa streets.

12:57 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a bike that was stolen from the 1200 block of Lincoln Avenue. A person left a bike under the 13th Street bridge, and it was gone when they returned.



5:24 a.m. Officers came across a bear in the 3800 block of Whistler Road.

10:39 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a vehicle that was stolen from the 700 block of Yampa Street. The vehicle was recovered later in the afternoon at the Meadows Parking lot across town.



11:02 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a car crash on Routt County Road 46. No other information was available.

11:04 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a vehicle that backed into a building in the 900 block of Ninth Street and caused some damage.

12:53 p.m. Officers were called to a report of two roommates having an argument in a hotel room in the 3100 block of Ingles Lane. The roommates were separated.

2:31 p.m. Officers were called to help direct traffic at the scene of a car crash in the 42000 block of Routt County Road 129.

4:43 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a rollover car crash in the 39000 block of Amethyst Drive. No other information was available.

6:23 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of criminal mischief in the 50000 block of Routt County Road 56A. No other information was available.

6:58 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a missing person in the first block of Moffat Avenue in Yampa. No other information was available.

8:27 p.m. Officers were called to a complaint about four or five juveniles firing off fireworks at the Howelsen Hill Skate Park. They were gone when officers arrived.

10:47 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a large bear going through dumpsters in the 2500 block of Daybreak Court.

11:04 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken woman walking around at Douglas and Merritt streets. The woman was given a ride to her mother’s house.

11:42 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in the 1300 block of Sparta Plaza. The bear was gone when officers arrived.
