Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:24 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the Upper Knoll Parking Lot. Officers issued one of the vehicle’s occupants a summons for having an open container of alcohol in the car.

1:26 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 1700 block of Lincoln Avenue. A woman reported someone was trying to get into her house. The person was gone when officers arrived.



9:43 a.m. Officers were called to a report of dispute between a Steamboat Ski Area employee and someone who was parked illegally and refusing to move in the 15-minute waiting area at the Gondola Transit Center. The argument was mediated.

12:44 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a dispute between an employer and a former employee in the 3600 block of Lincoln Avenue. The dispute involved a workman’s compensation claim that was denied.



1:53 p.m. Officers were called to a complaint about a vehicle driving erratically in the 1100 block of South Lincoln Avenue. Police were unable to locate the vehicle.
