Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:38 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a complaint about a loud noise in the 1300 block of Hilltop Parkway.

2:26 a.m. Officers were called to a complaint about a loud noise at a motel in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue.



2:31 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a highly intoxicated person wandering around downtown near Seventh Street. The person could not be located.

2:49 a.m. Officers were called to Yampa Valley Medical Center to take a report of a rollover car crash on Steamboat Boulevard. A passenger was injured in the crash, and the driver and passenger walked to the hospital. The driver left the hospital before officers arrived to talk to him about the accident. The driver later was issued a court summons on suspicion of leaving the scene of an accident, careless driving causing injury and failing to report the accident.



4:04 a.m. A person called police to report his or her stepfather was driving drunk in the 900 block of Falling Water Lane. Officers could not locate the driver.

1:29 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident at the Torian Plum parking garage. A parking attendant reported that an elderly man who appeared to be confused was trying to park a vehicle that was too big to fit inside the parking garage.

2:24 p.m. Officers were called to a report of several shots fired in the 900 block of Mountain Village Circle. Officers did not locate the source of the noise.

2:27 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a cell phone that was stolen from the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue.

5:45 p.m. Officers were called to a report of criminal mischief at Yampa Valley Medical Center. Somebody took a piece of snow removal equipment for a joyride. Officers were reviewing video surveillance to try and determine who drove the equipment.

5:59 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car crash at Third Street and Lincoln Avenue. A driver crossed the center of the highway and collided with a vehicle that was stopped on the west side of the street. The driver who caused the crash was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and careless driving. He suffered minor injuries to his face. The other driver was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center.
