Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:11 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a fight in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue.

1:16 a.m. Officers contacted an intoxicated person in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue. The person was given a courtesy ride home.



2:43 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious vehicle near the Upper Knoll Parking Lot. Police found the driver passed out inside the vehicle and arrested him on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

8:23 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man who was stumbling and yelling in the street at Whistler Road and Sparta Plaza. The man almost got hit by a car. Police contacted the man, and a sober person came to take care of him.



8:47 p.m. Officers were called to a report of skis that were stolen out of a pickup in the first block of Anglers Drive.

11:49 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who was trying to camp near a park in the 300 block of Mount Werner Road. The person was warned that it wasn’t legal to camp there.
