Police, fire and ambulance calls

2:22 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of four people fighting in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police showed up and found some people who said they knew nothing about a fight going on.

2:36 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken man who had passed out on the Yampa River Core Trail near the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police gave the man a ride home.



11:27 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman who was receiving suspicious phone calls in the 900 block of Pine Street.

1:31 p.m. Officers were called to a report of someone who lost a car key in the Gondola Transit Center.



4:47 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a hit-and-run in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza. A person saw a driver hit a vehicle and then hit a nearby dumpster before driving away. The person followed the driver until officers arrived. Police arrested the driver on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, careless driving, leaving the scene of an accident and failing to notify the police.

9:02 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car crash at Central Park Drive and Mount Werner Road. A vehicle went off the road and hit a post. There were no injuries.
