1:20 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report a woman who said the light was coming on in her stairwell even after she turned it off in the 100 block of Spruce Street.

5:41 a.m. Officers were called to a report of woman who said that there was a fox near her car and that she was afraid to get into her car in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue. It could not be found.

6:39 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear on Overlook Drive. It could not be found.



9:45 a.m. A suicide was reported in Steamboat.

11:09 a.m. Officers were called to a report of traffic lights not working at Walton Creek Road and U.S. Highway 40.



11:40 a.m. Officers were called to a report of noninjury accident at Lincoln Avenue and Eighth Street.

11:53 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a three-car, noninjury accident near Anglers Drive and U.S. 40.

3:31 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that was stopping, weaving and not using turn signals at U.S. 40 and Anglers Drive.

4:19 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a damaged mountain bike that was in the back of a truck in the 1800 block of Kamar Plaza.

4:32 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that hit the mirror on another car on Lincoln Avenue downtown.

5:12 p.m. Officers were called to a report of juveniles on motorcycles near Cherry Drive. They were gone when officers arrived.

6:30 p.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a person in Steamboat.

7:04 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to check on the welfare of a person in the 100 block of West First Street in Oak Creek. The person could not be contacted.

7:54 p.m. Deputies helped a driver near mile marker 114 on U.S. 40.

9:30 p.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a person in the 1100 block of Natures Lane. Everything was fine.

11:19 p.m. Officers helped Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters with a person involved in a fight at a bar in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. A 26-year-old Steamboat man was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault.
