Police, fire and ambulance calls
12:01 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a business window being open near Riverside Plaza. Everything was fine.
12:26 a.m. Officers were called to a report of music playing late into the night in the 400 block of Fairview Drive.
1:25 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of trespassing at the ice rink in Oak Creek.
3:22 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a barking dog in the 1600 block of Anglers Drive. They found a stray dog and took it home.
3:55 a.m. Officers were called to a report of two males trying to break into a truck in the 1300 block of Walton Creek Road.
10:06 a.m. Officers were called to a report of someone urinating outside in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive. The person was gone when officers arrived.
11:53 a.m. Officers were called to a report of someone complaining about another using marijuana in the 400 block of Ore House Plaza.
1:02 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a dog left in a vehicle near Routt County Road 34 and Amethyst Drive. Animal Control dealt with the situation.
1:47 p.m. Officers were called to a report of someone’s garage door having been damaged in the 1500 block of Mid Valley Drive.
3:05 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to assist ski patrol in the 3100 block of Burgess Creek Road.
3:08 p.m. Officers were called to a report of someone’s longboard being stolen in the 500 block of Oak Street.
5:59 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a hit and run accident in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue.
8:31 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of illegal dumping on Morrison Divide.
9:44 p.m. Officers were called to a report of someone needing help entering their home in the 1300 block of Manitou Avenue.
10:07 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a suspicious person in the 21400 block of Fourth Avenue in Phippsburg.
11:19 p.m. Officers were called to a report of people throwing fireworks into a dumpster in the 400 block of Willett Heights Court. Nobody was around when officers arrived.
11:57 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a hit and run accident in the 1000 block of Central Park Drive.
