Police, fire and ambulance calls

7:25 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers responded to a report of stolen gas at a station in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza. Officers still are looking for the vehicle.

8:47 a.m. Officers were called to a vehicle complaint near Meadow Lane and Sunburst Court. A hot air balloon came down inadvertently in the middle of the road, temporarily blocking traffic.



12:40 p.m. Officers were called to a suspicious incident in the 1000 block of Graystone Court. Someone reported there was a yellow kayak turned sideways in Fish Creek, and they were concerned. Officers arrived, and the kayak was empty.

2:48 p.m. Officers were called to a criminal mischief report at a business in the 2100 block of Curve Plaza. The party reported having their tire slashed in the parking lot.



8:51 p.m. Someone reported losing a wallet at the westbound bus stop at Seventh Street.

10:12 p.m. Officers were called to a vehicle complaint near 10th Street and Lincoln Avenue. A driver reportedly was swerving and driving across the center line. Officers were unable to locate the driver.

10:12 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 1400 block of Bob Adams Drive. When officers arrived, everything was fine.
