Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:00 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a woman having locked herself out of her apartment at the Shadow Run Condominiums. She also lost her purse. A security company was contacted for her to get inside and she found her purse the next day.

9:18 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to a report of someone having a seizure at the Steamboat Golf Club.



10:18 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a hit-and-run crash near City Market.

11:23 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a hit-and-run crash near City Market.



12:01 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a dog at large at Fetcher Park. The owner was given a warning.

12:45 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an animal complaint near Tamarack Drive and Wyatt Drive. A citation was issued.

1:55 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a dog at large in the 1500 block of Lincoln Avenue. A written warning was issued.

2:37 p.m. Officers were called to a report of merchandise being stolen from a business in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue. The theft is still under investigation.

4:02 p.m. Officers were called to a report of someone flying a drone over someone’s house in the 1000 block of Merritt Street. The owner of the drone was asked to respect other people’s privacy.

4:06 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to a report of someone having a seizure in the 37500 block of Saddle Mountain Drive.

5:03 p.m. Officers were called to a report of dogs having been left inside a vehicle near Sixth Street and Lincoln Avenue. The vehicle was gone when officers arrived.

5:05 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an assault near Rollingstone Drive and Anglers Drive. It is still under investigation.

6:51 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a fight in the 700 block of Mountain Village Circle. Two people got into an argument while drinking.

7:11 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to a report of someone bleeding at the Steamboat Hotel.

7:33 p.m. Officers were called to a report of two motorcycles driving too fast on Steamboat Boulevard. No contact was made.

7:44 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a lost wallet at Walmart. Someone had used one of the debit cards that was in the wallet. The issue is still under investigation.

8:14 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a hit-and-run crash near Elk River Road and Copper Ridge Drive.

9:33 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a missing person in the 1400 block of Lincoln Avenue. A family of four was in town for vacation and one of them went missing. He was later located in the family’s condo.

9:50 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a suspicious person near mile marker 105 on U.S. Highway 40 in Hayden.

11:49 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a noise complaint in the 27700 block of Winchester Trail.
