Police, fire and ambulance calls

6:50 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of an animal complaint in the 2000 block of Clubhouse Drive. Department of Wildlife helped remove a bear that was coming into contact with domestic animals.

7:48 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a vehicle speeding and passing in no passing zones near mile marker 65 on Colorado Highway 131.



9:53 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a suspicious incident near mile marker 4 on Routt County Road 45.

10:58 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a disturbance in the 27300 block of Moonlight Way.



11:11 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of an animal complaint in the 23400 block of Routt County Road 56.

1:46 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man who appeared to be building a structure in an area he wasn’t supposed to in the 1500 block of Shadow Run Court. Turned out he was erecting a community garden, which is allowed.

1:47 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disagreement between two parties in the 1000 block of Village Lane. Officers mediated the situation.

2:21 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a gas skip in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue.

3:40 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a disturbance in the 200 block of Sharp Avenue in Oak Creek.

3:55 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to a report of someone suffering a fall in the 1400 block of Pine Grove Circle.

4:01 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an animal complaint near 12th and Oak street. Someone’s goats and large dog were out of their holdings and were asked to be put back.

4:20 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to a medical situation in the 3300 block of Spring Valley Drive.

5:46 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a suspicious incident near mile marker 8 on Routt County Road 62 in Clark.

6:14 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of possible shots being fired in the 29000 block of River Drive in Clark.

6:18 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a burglary in the 3300 block of Columbine Drive. A possible suspect was contacted with the situation still under investigation.

6:30 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to a report of someone losing consciousness in the 2500 block of Evergreen Lane.

7:38 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a vehicle complaint near mile marker 112 on U.S. Highway 40 in Hayden.

8:36 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a disturbance in the 40500 block of Steamboat Drive.

9:21 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear being in the 1700 block of Harmony Lane.

9:42 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a suspicious incident near R.C.R. 32 and Steamboat Boulevard.

10:22 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear being in the 2800 block of Ridge Road.

11:47 p.m. Officers remained with children at the carnival in the Meadows Parking Lot until their parents were able to pick them up.
