Police, fire and ambulance calls

1:37 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of “someone driving sideways in the alley” in the 300 block of Pine Street. They driver could not be located.

5:58 a.m. Officers were called to a report of criminal mischief in the 900 block of Confluence Court. A 19-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of harassment and criminal mischief. There was damage to a car.



8:48 a.m. Officers were called to a report of trash in the street at Second and Maple streets.

9:35 a.m. Officers contacted a person in the 2600 block of Eagleridge Drive and gave them directions.



11:07 a.m. Officers were called to help with an ongoing neighbor dispute involving property lines in the 900 block of Falling Water Lane. The situation was mediated.

12:07 p.m. Officers were called to help a person who did not want a woman staying in a condo anymore. The woman later had a panic attack and was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center.

1:20 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who fainted at Strawberry Park Elementary School.

3:32 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person driving badly at Central Park Drive and Pine Grove Road. The driver was contacted and was fine.

6:13 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that ran a red light at Lincoln Avenue and 13th Street. The driver could not be located.

6:51 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a fight at Ninth Street and Lincoln Avenue. Two men were arguing. They were both contacted, and no arrests were made.

7:29 p.m. Officers were called to help a resident in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza. The resident talked to a neighbor about loud music, and the neighbor did not appreciate it. Police talked to both people involved.

8:27 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken person at Yampa and Sixth Streets. A sober friend came and got the person.

8:53 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a possible drunken driver in the 800 block of Yampa Street. A person saw someone passed out in a car and then drive away. The driver could not be located.

10:15 p.m. Officers were called to a report of three high school boys sitting in a car in the 2700 block of Laurel Lane. The boys said they were waiting for after-prom to start.

11:13 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an illegal fire that was “smoking out the neighborhood” in the 2200 block of Poma Lane. The neighbors with the fire had a permit.
