Police, fire and ambulance calls
12:06 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a credit card fraud report in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle. Someone lost their wallet near the base of Steamboat Ski Area, and shortly thereafter got alerts from their bank that their card had been used in suspicious ways. A report was taken.
2:54 a.m. Officers were called to a report of an assault in the 2400 block of Ski Trail Lane. A man returned to his condo bleeding, saying he was assaulted downtown by unknown suspects. He sustained a cut to the head.
10:19 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a theft from a bar in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. Jewelry valued at $3,500 was reportedly stolen.
1:30 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a vehicle that had been keyed near Eighth and Oak streets.
1:36 p.m. Officers were called to a suspicious incident at a bar in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue. A woman said she was possibly drugged the night before at the bar, and officers are investigating the incident.
3:26 p.m. Officers were called to a disturbance at a restaurant in the 2200 block of Apres Ski Way. A man was reportedly yelling at people and pulling his pants down, but none of the reporting parties actually witnessed him pulling his pants down. He was released to his brother.
6:08 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious person at a restaurant in the 700 block of Yampa Street. The same person that was reportedly yelling and pulling his pants down at a restaurant at 3:26 p.m. was kicked out of the Yampa Street restaurant for damaging property in the bathroom and harassing patrons.
6:28 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a theft at a hotel in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle. Two hundred dollars worth of cash was reportedly taken from a hotel room.
7:03 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a fight in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza. Neither of the two individuals wished to press charges.
9:46 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an assault in the 900 block of Weiss Drive. One person sustained a substantial cut to his neck and was taken to the hospital where he underwent surgery. The other individual also went to the hospital and received stitches for a cut. After he received stitches, he was then arrested and booked into jail for second-degree assault. He reportedly used a broken liquor bottle to assault the other man.
