Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:24 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a drunken person near Seventh Street and Lincoln Avenue. The person was not located.

12:32 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a loud party in the first block of Spruce Street. A warning was given.



1:47 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious person walking near a home in the 1300 block of Indian Trails. The person was contacted and everything was fine.

9:40 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a stolen mountain bike at a hotel in the 3100 block of Lincoln Avenue.



9:47 a.m. Officers were called to a complaint about a dog near Ninth Street and Aspen Street. The dog was not found.

10:36 a.m. Officers were called to a report of items missing from a hotel room in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court.

11:12 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a missing person at the farmers’ market. The person was located.

12:36 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a hit-and-run in the first block of Sixth Street.

2:09 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a hit-and-run in the 300 block of Mount Werner Road.

2:49 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an argument happening on the river in the 300 block of Mount Werner Road.

5:38 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a dog in a car in the 400 block of Anglers Drive. The vehicle was not found.

6:25 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to a report of a structure fire near Sandhill Circle and Jay Court. It turned out to only be smoke from a barbecue.

8:02 p.m. Officers were called to a report of trespassing at a hotel in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court. People were skateboarding in the garage and were issued tickets.

8:26 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a speeding vehicle in the 2300 block of Oxford Way.

9:04 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an empty tube floating down the river in the 1600 block of Shield Drive. Nobody was around and no further action was taken.

11:09 p.m. Officers were called to help a resident lock up a business in the 1000 block of 13th Street.

11:35 p.m. Officers were called to a report of people being loud in a parking lot near a hotel in the 3100 block of Lincoln Avenue. They were given a warning.
