Police, fire and ambulance calls
12:43 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a fight at a business at the 700 block of Yampa Street. One man was arrested and the other party involved had a large wound on his mouth from the fight.
2:10 a.m. Officers were called to a noise complaint at the 1400 block of Moraine Circle. A group was screaming and yelling from a townhome’s hot tub and pool and were asked to leave.
2:33 a.m. Officers were called to a suspicious person at the 2200 block of Village Inn Court. A man had an argument with his dad who was staying in the area, and the son was trying to sleep in a business’ lobby. He was asked to leave.
2:59 a.m. Officers were called to a suspicious incident outside of a business at the 700 block of Yampa Street. An employee of the business said three people in a handicap stall appeared to be snorting something out of their hands. When officers arrived, the three people already were gone.
10:03 a.m. Officers were called to a theft at a business at the 400 block of South Lincoln Avenue. Someone lost their wallet and about $80 in cash was taken from the wallet and $38 was charged to a credit card in the wallet.
10:22 a.m. Officers were called to a harassment complaint at a business at the 2000 block of Curve Plaza. Someone prank called the business, asking to speak to the manager and saying inappropriate things when trying to get in touch with them.
12:26 p.m. Officers were called to a hit-and-run crash at the 400 block of Eighth Street. A vehicle backed into another and fled the area. The fleeing driver was contacted and given a citation.
3:47 p.m. Officers were called to a theft complaint at a business at the 2100 block of Curve Plaza. A wallet reportedly was stolen from a fundraiser booth inside a business between noon and 2 p.m.
8:59 p.m. Officers were called to a drunken pedestrian face down in a snow bank at the 1000 block of Crawford Avenue. The man was taken to detox.
11:09 p.m. Officers were called to a fight at a business at the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive. Two drunken people were fighting, and officers were unable to find the second party involved. No action was taken.
