Police, fire and ambulance calls

1:40 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a theft at a bar in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. A jacket was taken from the bar.

7:43 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear getting into a non-bear-proof trash can in the 300 block of River Road. Officers issued a ticket to the trash can’s owner.



10:11 a.m. Officers were called to a report of fraud at a hotel in the 700 block of South Lincoln Avenue. The hotel was getting suspicious phone calls, and officers took a report.

12:25 p.m. Officers were called to a report of criminal mischief at a business in the 2200 block of Après Ski Way. It was a cold report of vandalism at the business.



9:22 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 900 block of Mountain Village Circle. Someone called complaining about an odd smell in the apartment complex, and everything seemed fine when officers arrived.

9:58 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident at a hotel in the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue. No action was taken.

11:03 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance at a bar in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue. An intoxicated person was kicked out of the bar and was trying to get back in. Officers gave him a courtesy ride home.
