Police, fire and ambulance calls

1:20 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 800 block of Howelsen Parkway. When officers arrived, they learned everything was OK.

2:45 a.m. Officers were called to a suspicious incident report in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza. A man was reportedly knocking on the door of his ex-wife. It woke her up and scared her, but when officers arrived, everything was fine.



12:13 p.m. Someone found a BMX bike on the Core Trail and turned it into the Steamboat Springs Police Department.

1:55 p.m. A woman came to the Steamboat Springs Police Department to report a lost wallet.



6:16 p.m. Officers were called to a wildlife report in the 2700 block of South Lincoln Avenue. A cow elk and its calf were found by Casey’s Pond, but officers decided not to disturb them because they weren’t causing any problems.

11:23 p.m. Officers were called to a noise complaint report in the 3100 block of Heavenly View. A vehicle was playing music loudly in a parking lot, but everyone was gone by the time officers arrived.
