1:33 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of someone receiving threatening text messages.

12:29 p.m. Oak Creek Police Department officers were called to a report of harassment in the 200 block of Wild Hogg Drive.

5:01 p.m. Officers were called to help someone who was locked out of his or her vehicle in the first block of Yampa Street.



5:13 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a dog attacking and scaring a child in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza. The child was not injured by the dog, and police reminded the dog’s owner to abide by the city’s leash law.

7:13 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person receiving harassing text messages and Facebook posts.



9:37 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who backed into another vehicle and fled from the scene in the 900 block of Pine Grove Road. Police found the vehicle that caused the damage in a nearby parking lot and had it towed. When the owner of the vehicle called to inquire about the location of his vehicle, police issued the man a court summons for unsafe backing and leaving the scene of an accident.
