1:25 a.m. Foot patrol was requested in downtown Steamboat Springs.

4:16 a.m. A vehicle hit a deer on Storm Meadows Drive. There were no injuries, and the car was not badly damaged. The deer broke two legs and died.



11:58 a.m. A burglar alarm went off in the 2500 block of Steamboat Boulevard. A report was not taken.

12:03 p.m. There was a two-car accident at the intersection of Walton Creek Road and U.S. Highway 40. No injuries were reported.



12:21 p.m. A motorcycle rear-ended an SUV at the intersection of Sixth Street and Lincoln Avenue.

1:45 p.m. A single engine airplane slid off the runway during takeoff at the Steamboat Springs Airport. The plane had six passengers. No one was injured.

5:32 p.m. An officer was requested on Mount Werner Circle.

5:50 p.m. An officer was requested in the 2300 block of Storm Meadows Drive.

6:01 p.m. A hit-and-run was reported at the intersection of Columbine Drive and Walton Creek Road.

6:59 p.m. Damage and criminal mischief was reported at Rabbit Ears Motel. A person was climbing up the motel’s sign to get a photo taken on top of it and broke off the “M” for motel. A report was taken.

7:43 p.m. Extra patrol was requested at the Routt County Courthouse.

10:01 p.m. Extra patrol was requested at the 40 block of East Maple Street.

11:27 p.m. A suspicious incident was reported at the intersection of 480 Ranch and Routt County Road 68.
