4:19 a.m. A man in the first block of Cedar Court reportedly heard a bear “squealing” and thought its paw was stuck in a Dumpster. The bear was gone when officers arrived.

10:04 a.m. A woman in the 1000 block of 13th Street reported someone living in a caboose. The woman reportedly found food in the area, though there was no one there when officers arrived. Officers said they would patrol the area more often. This is at least the second report regarding a mysterious person leaving signs that he or she is living in the caboose.

10:39 a.m. Someone reported a natural gas leak in the 40000 block of Lyndsay Drive. There was no gas leak.

10:55 a.m. Someone reportedly drove on a grass field in the 3800 block of Whistler Road.

11:56 a.m. A black Toyota 4 Runner reportedly was knocking over traffic cones near Lincoln Avenue and Hilltop Parkway. Police contacted the driver and gave him or her a warning.

12:10 p.m. A man updated his sex offender registration at the police department.

12:13 p.m. A 15-year-old boy’s $1,500 bicycle reportedly was stolen from the 600 block of Marketplace Plaza. A report was taken.

2:12 p.m. Someone was concerned about three children walking near a pond and U.S. Highway 40 because the person did not see any adults in the area. The situation was fine.

2:47 p.m. A woman’s purse reportedly was stolen from her car in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza.

4:09 p.m. A woman reported being “yelled and screamed at in front of customers” at a business in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

5:10 p.m. A man retrieved his found wallet from the police department.

6:45 p.m. A man in the 2500 block of Abbey Road reported seeing gray plumes of smoke coming from a home. The man told police the smoke didn’t smell like smoke, and that it smelled like “minerals.” The “smoke” was construction dust.

7:32 p.m. A man and woman reportedly were arguing in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.

8:09 p.m. A 23-year-old Craig man was arrested on suspicion of theft.

9:33 p.m. An Oak Creek woman was taken to the hospital because she was suffering from chest pain.

11:09 p.m. A 70-year-old woman was taken to the hospital from Creekside Court because she was having trouble breathing.
