Steamboat Springs — Monday, Oct. 27
2:22 a.m. A one-vehicle noninjury accident was reported on U.S. Highway 40, where a parked vehicle ran into a fence and a ditch. Steamboat Springs Police officers arrested one person on suspicion of driving under the influence. One person was also transported to the Yampa Valley Medical Center with minor injuries.
8 a.m. A two-vehicle noninjury accident was reported in the 200 block of Anglers Drive. Police issued a ticket.
8:09 a.m. A motor vehicle accident was reported in the first block of Lincoln Avenue, where three cars were involved in an accident in the construction zone near the U.S. Post Office. Police issued a ticket.
9:15 a.m. A theft was reported in the 2700 block of Brandon Circle. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies made an arrest.
10:02 a.m. The theft of a check was reported in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police took a report and the case remains under investigation.

10:31 a.m. An ambulance was requested in Steamboat Springs, where a 73-year-old male was having difficulty breathing. The patient was taken to YVMC.
12:06 p.m. An officer was requested in the 1100 block of Hilltop Parkway with a report of a suspicious call. Police took a report.
1:48 p.m. Harassment was reported in the 1300 block of Manitou Lane, where a man reported his daughter was receiving inappropriate text messages.
1:59 p.m. A one-vehicle, noninjury motor vehicle accident was reported on Fish Creek Falls Road near Amethyst Drive, where a car drove over an embankment. Police took a report.
2:01 p.m. Harassment was reported in the 2000 block of Shield Drive. Sheriff’s deputies took a report.
2:11 p.m. A wildfire was reported in the 1500 block of Conestoga Circle, where a 20-foot by 20-foot area of brush was on fire. The fire was contained and police spoke with the parents of two males younger than 10 years old. No arrests were made.
9:02 p.m. A burglary was reported in the 1400 block of Delta Queen Court.
9:05 p.m. An incident of domestic violence was reported in Routt County, where a husband and wife were arguing. Sheriff’s deputies arrested the husband.
11:47 p.m. A loud party complaint was reported in the first block of Spruce Street. Police issued a ticket for a minor in possession and for a noise violation.
