1:59 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to a house fire in the 26000 block of Routt County Road 43 where a fire reportedly started in an attic and caused moderate damage to a single-story house. The house was still habitable, and Fire Marshall Jay Muhme said the investigation into the cause of the fire will continue this week.
7:27 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a $25 gas skip in the first block of Anglers Drive. Officers pulled over the driver, and he returned to pay for the gas. Officers then arrested the driver, a 32-year-old Steamboat Springs man, on an outstanding warrant for dangerous drugs.
8:36 a.m. Police were called to a complaint about a car at Village Drive and AprÃs Ski Way, where construction flaggers reportedly were blocking bus traffic. Officers mediated the situation.
10:21 a.m. Police were called to a complaint about a cat at large in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue where a kitten was reportedly living in a garbage bin.
12:05 p.m. Police were called to a complaint about a black Labrador retriever at large at Walton Creek Road and Chinook Lane.
1:47 p.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue were called to a report of a fire in the 1400 block of South Lincoln Avenue. Employees of the business extinguished the fire before firefighters arrived, and an electrician was called. Everything was fine.

2:22 p.m. Police arrested a 46-year-old Milner woman on suspicion of driving under revocation, driving under the influence, DUI per se and careless driving after a traffic stop on Seventh Street.
3:25 p.m. Police were called to a complaint about a brown dog at large in the 1500 block of Lincoln Avenue. Animal control officers took the dog to the Steamboat Springs Animal Shelter.
6:24 p.m. Police were called to a request for a welfare check in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza where a patient in the emergency room was concerned that there may have been children alone at his or her house. Officers checked the house, and there were no children there.
6:30 p.m. Routt County Search and Rescue volunteers and North Routt Fire Protection District emergency responders were called to a request for a rescue on Forest Road 409 near Clark where a person reportedly was suffering seizures. The ambulance could not make it up the muddy road, so Search and Rescue volunteers used ATVs to bring the patient to the ambulance. Medical crews then took the person to Yampa Valley Medical Center.
7:34 p.m. Police and deputies were called to a report of a domestic argument in Steamboat. Officers arrived and everything was fine.
8:33 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a car crash at C.R. 27 and U.S. Highway 40 near Hayden where a car hit a cow. There were no injuries, and no ticket was issued. The condition of the cow was unknown.
