1:30 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue where two people reportedly looked like they might be getting into a fight. Officers arrived, and everything was fine.
6:58 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to an animal complaint at Fourth Street and Terhune Avenue in Yampa.
8:13 a.m. Police were called to a request for code enforcement in the 3400 block of Flagstone Court where a person reportedly was using a trash can that was not bear-proof. A code enforcement officer handled the complaint.
8:35 a.m. Colorado Division of Wildlife officers were called to a report of a bear in the 1100 block of Fairway Woods.
9:23 a.m. Police were called to a request for code enforcement in the 3400 block of AprÃs Ski Way where a person reportedly was using a trash can that was not bear-proof. The tenants were moving out, and the matter was referred to the landlord.
9:44 a.m. Oak Creek Police Department officers were called to a report of theft in the 300 block of East Second Street.

10:19 a.m. Police were called to a report of a bicycle stolen from the 3200 block of AprÃs Ski Way. A resident later found the bicycle, and it was returned to the owner.
10:40 a.m. Police were called to a request for code enforcement in the 100 block of James Street for a group of five people from Wyoming traveling door to door selling vacuum cleaners. The group also was offering to vacuum houses as part of a demonstration. Officers contacted the group, found that they had no warrants, and told them they needed a tax license to sell in Steamboat Springs. The group reportedly obtained a permit, and everything was fine.
10:59 a.m. Deputies were called to an animal complaint on Routt County Road 14 near the Big Valley Ranch neighborhood where a herd of cows reportedly was on the road. Deputies helped return the cows to the pasture.
12:09 p.m. Police were called to a complaint of a vicious cat in the first block of Cypress Court where a domestic housecat reportedly was fighting with other cats and being a menace.
12:14 p.m. Police were called to a report of vandalism in the 1000 block of Crawford Avenue where the back window reportedly was broken out of a car. Officers took a report, and police said it was not clear whether a vandal or weather broke the window.
12:22 p.m. Police were called to a report of a gas skip in the first block of Anglers Drive where a man reportedly pumped about $68 worth of gasoline before driving away. Police said a clerk recognized the man from a suspected gas skip last week but was unable to stop him. Officers took a report and are investigating.
2:41 p.m. Deputies were called to an animal complaint in the 27000 block of Thorpe Mountain Drive near Stagecoach.
2:53 p.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to a request for a welfare check in the 300 block of Pine Street where a man reportedly was highly intoxicated and possibly comatose. Officers found the 61-year-old man passed out in bed and determined he was intoxicated. Medical crews took him to Yampa Valley Medical Center.
4:08 p.m. Police were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash at U.S. Highway 40 and the Stock Bridge Transit Center. Officers issued a ticket.
4:09 p.m. Deputies were called to an animal complaint in the 200 block of Eagles Nest.
4:11 p.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue were called to a request for an ambulance in the 2300 block of Penny Lane where a 47-year-old woman reportedly was ill. Medical crews took her to YVMC.
5:07 p.m. Hayden Police Department officers and West Routt Fire Protection District emergency responders were called to a request for an ambulance.
7:34 p.m. Deputies were called to an animal complaint on C.R. 129 near C.R. 52.
9:07 p.m. Police were called to a report of a burglary in the 1900 block of Cornice Road where a unit reportedly was ransacked. Several items, including a TV and a laptop, were reported missing.
9:49 p.m. Police were called to a report of domestic violence in Steamboat.
11:43 p.m. Police, deputies, Oak Creek Fire Rescue and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue were called to a report of a person who reportedly overdosed on prescription medication in the 2100 block of Walton Creek Road. Routt County Search and Rescue volunteers also were called in to help search for the man, who reportedly walked away from the group he was with. A person later found the man lying down in the seat of a truck in a parking lot, and medical crews took him to YVMC. Police said the man was later released to a friend.
