Police, fire and ambulance calls


5:16 a.m.
Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person with trauma in the 42500 block of Deerfoot Lane.

10:53 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers contacted a person who was lost at the James Brown Soul Center of the Universe Bridge.

11:12 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who wanted to complain about people riding their bikes on the sidewalk at Fifth Street and Lincoln Avenue. Officers conducted extra patrols in the area and gave warnings.

11:17 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who wanted to complain about someone posting derogatory comments on Facebook.

11:32 a.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help an elderly woman who was unconscious at the Steamboat Springs Community Center.

12:53 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a man having a seizure in the 300 block of Pearl Street.

2:10 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a transient man who was yelling at grocery store customers in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. When a manager approached him, he ran away. The transient man could not be found.

2:48 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who wanted to complain about people skateboarding on the sidewalk at Ninth Street and Lincoln Avenue. Multiple warnings were given.

4:23 p.m. Officers were called to a report of harassment at Colorado Mountain College.

4:51 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a mountain bike found in the 800 block of Yampa Street.

5:09 p.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters were called to a report of an accident on Routt County Road 27. A semitrailer hauling coal rolled while going around a curve. The driver was not injured.

6:34 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken woman running around the hallways at a hospital in the 1000 block of Central Park Drive. She was trying to get to the emergency room because she was drunk.

7:41 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suicide attempt in Steamboat. A person had overdosed on alcohol and prescription drugs and was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center.

7:49 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a green laser being shined into a person’s car at Mount Werner Circle and Mount Werner Road.

10:58 p.m. Oak Creek firefighters were called to help a person with an unknown medical issue in the 22600 block of Snowbird Trail.
