Police, fire and ambulance calls
12:49 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of pumpkins smashed in the 400 block of Parkview Drive. A person saw two males running away. Police contacted one of them, and the 20-year-old man was given a ticket for criminal mischief.
1:03 a.m. Officers were called to a report of an underage female drinking alcohol at Colorado Mountain College.
7:41 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help with a vehicle fire near mile marker two on Routt County Road 129.
8:15 a.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help with a gas leak at a restaurant in the 700 block of Yampa Street.
10:40 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a dispute between a landlord and tenant involving damage to a rental unit in the 1900 block of Ski Time Square Drive.
11:09 a.m. Officers were called to a report of an assault in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza. A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of felony menacing and harassment.
11:32 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a car parked in front of a fire hydrant in the 1300 block of 13th Street.
12:19 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with trauma in the 4000 block of Whistler Road.
12:30 p.m. Officers were called to a report of threats in the 1100 block of Hilltop Parkway. A person was smoking in front of a business, and someone from the business complained. The person said to call the police. Police issued a warning.
12:49 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person having difficulty breathing in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue.
1:56 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person having a seizure in the 1500 block of Clubhouse Drive.
2:30 p.m. Officers were called to a report of someone drinking a beer while driving at Third Street and Lincoln Avenue. They could not be located.
2:40 p.m. Routt County Search and Rescue volunteers were called to search for a lost hunter in North Routt County. There were two other searches during the day, and all three men were located.
2:44 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person bitten by a dog at Rita Valentine Park.
4:06 p.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a person in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza.
4:10 p.m. Officers were called to a report of fraud in the first block of Cedar Court. A person paid $460 for a rental unit, and the unit was actually not for rent.
4:54 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who saw someone climbing through an apartment window in the 700 block of Walton Pond Circle. Police discovered the person lived there.
4:59 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with trauma at Steamboat Springs Airport.
