Police, fire and ambulance calls
12:07 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers investigated a suspicious car in the 3600 block of Lincoln Avenue. A woman was sleeping inside the car.
12:16 a.m. Officers were called to a report of people arguing at the electrical substation near the mountain fire station. Police could not find anyone.
1:17 a.m. Officers investigated a suspicious car at Colorado Mountain College. A summons was issued for underage possession of drug paraphernalia.
3:59 a.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of family members in the 2900 block of West Acres Drive. They were fine.
8:36 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person with a medical problem in the 700 block of Tamarack Drive.
10:28 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a van window damaged sometime in the past two weeks in the 1500 block of Shadow Run Frontage.
10:54 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 100 block of Park Avenue. A warning was given.
11:01 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious person on the Yampa River Core Trail. A man reportedly had a samurai sword on his back and was having an argument with himself. He could not be located.
11:12 a.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to a report of a garbage truck on fire at Anglers Drive and South Lincoln Avenue. The fire was contained to the garbage.
12:52 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman who thought someone may have put something in her drink at a restaurant in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue.
3:50 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a possible drunken driver at Walton Creek Road and South Lincoln Avenue. A woman was seen crossing the yellow line and tailgating. She could not be located.
5:24 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person speeding and driving carelessly at Walton Creek Road and Columbine Drive.
5:27 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person driving down the turning lane on Lincoln Avenue. The driver could not be located.
8:07 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to a report of a chimney fire at a trailer in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza. There was a little fire in the trailer roof that firefighters were able to put out quickly.
