Police, fire and ambulance calls

7:20 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a low-flying plane that flew over a house five times in the 1300 block of Manitou Avenue. It was believed the plane was spraying meadows.

9:09 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost a cell phone downtown.



9:23 a.m. Officers were called to a report of graffiti at baseball fields in the 900 block of Pamela Lane.

9:29 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a $50 mountain bike stolen from the 800 block of Yampa Street.



9:51 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious person who was scaring customers in the 2100 block of Downhill Drive. The person was asked to leave.

12:12 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a road rage incident downtown.

12:14 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who fell on the Yampa Valley Core Trail.

12:35 p.m. Officers were called to a report of people smoking marijuana 30 minutes before at Howelsen Hill. They could not be located.

12:58 p.m. Officers were called to a report of shoplifting in the 700 block of Marketplace Plaza. About $1,500 worth of items were stolen.

1:43 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person having problems with a neighbor in the 400 block of Ore House Plaza.

3:21 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a dog that attacked another dog through a fence in the 200 block of Hill Street.

4:42 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 1300 block of 13th Street.

5:22 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken man who fell and hit his head in the 800 block of Yampa Street. The man was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center.

6:12 p.m. Officers were called to a report of people gathering around a moose at Clubhouse Drive and Steamboat Boulevard.

7:11 p.m. North Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a woman who was unconscious in the 56700 block of Lupine Court. The woman was tied up and deceased. The incident is being treated as a homicide.

10:36 p.m. Officers were called to a report of fireworks in the Spring Creek area.

11:26 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with a medical problem in the 700 block of Tamarack Drive.
