Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:39 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 700 block of Yampa Street. Bouncers at a bar called police to check on a man who jumped a fence and ran away. The man was found on the roof of a restaurant next door. No one wanted to pursue trespassing charges, so he was given a ride home.

1:07 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person having a seizure in the 27200 block of Moonlight Way.



1:49 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 300 block of Third Street. A drunken man left a bar in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue and was screaming and yelling while walking home. He was given a warning.

2:35 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a man screaming and yelling in the 300 block of Third Street. He could not be located.



8:28 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost keys in the D-Hole on the Yampa River.

8:45 a.m. Officers were called to a report of tools stolen in the 1400 block of Pine Grove Road. A former employee was a suspect.

9:05 a.m. Officers were called to a report of illegal dumping in the 500 block of Laurel Street. A bunch of clothing and other items had been left on a porch. They had been left as a donation, but were brought to the wrong house.

9:48 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a man who lost $500 in a phone scam. The man has been victimized by scam artists several times.

10:25 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a reckless motorcyclist who almost caused an accident near Burgess Creek Road. The motorcyclist could not be located.

10:30 a.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who recently had surgery and passed out in the 600 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

1:09 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car having been broken into at Steamboat Springs High School. Nothing was missing.

2:26 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with an unknown medical problem in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue.

2:41 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 500 block of Huckleberry Lane.

5:35 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a driver slamming on his brakes and flipping off a driver at Loggers Lane and Lincoln Avenue.

9:18 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a $2,500 Moots mountain bike stolen from a man’s back porch Saturday evening in the 3100 block of Ingles Lane.

9:23 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noise complaint. A person complained of a wrestling match and loud music in the 3300 block of Columbine Drive.

9:33 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car alarm going off in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue.

9:33 p.m. Officers were called to a report of $235 stolen from a car in the 300 block of Third Street.

10:35 p.m. Officers contacted several juveniles hanging around the high school after hours. A door to the school was propped open, but no one was inside. Police believed preparations were possibly being made for a senior prank.

11:53 p.m. Officers were called to a report of loud music in the 1300 block of Mountain Village Circle.
