Police, fire and ambulance calls

9:24 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a man who was stealing from a convenience store in the 900 block of Weiss Drive. The man was arrested on suspicion of theft.

11:34 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that backed out of a parking spot, hit a van and fled the scene at the parking lot at Bud Werner Memorial Library. Police have identified a suspect and were looking for the vehicle Tuesday.

11:54 a.m. Police found items that were associated with a Monday home burglary at the Rollingstone Golf Course. Police were still investigating the burglary Tuesday.

4:21 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a vehicle that was stolen from the 100 block of Main Street in Yampa. Deputies determined the vehicle was not stolen. The transmission had popped out of gear, and the vehicle rolled down the street.

5:12 p.m. Officers were called to a report of construction equipment that was stolen from Skyview Lane.

9:15 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear that was walking outside of a movie theater in the 600 block of Marketplace Plaza. Officers were unable to locate the bear.
