Police, fire and ambulance calls
1:48 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers contacted a man who was standing next to a police car. The man was taking a selfie and wasn’t doing anything wrong.
2:24 a.m. Officers contacted two people who had been sitting in a car for 20 minutes at Fifth and Oak streets. They were bar employees, and they were talking.
3:14 a.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person with abdominal pain in the 100 block of South Shelton Lane.
11:01 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to a report of a vehicle fire in the 31500 block of Aspen Ridge Road.
11:39 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person in the 1300 block of Athens Plaza who had unauthorized charges on a credit card.
11:55 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person in the 1100 block of Memphis Belle Court who had unauthorized charges on a credit card. The card was used in Australia.
11:59 a.m. Officers were called a report of a man who was skiing at Steamboat Ski Area without paying for a pass.
12:43 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who had an iPhone stolen from a bar in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue.
1:59 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a stop sign in the back of a car in the 1800 block of South Lincoln Avenue. The car was gone when officers arrived.
4:06 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious car in the 1000 block of Crawford Avenue.
4:15 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who had a cell phone account opened in their name.
5:25 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a wallet found in the 200 block of Curve Plaza. It was returned to its owner.
8:13 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken man passed out in the snow in the 2700 block of Village Drive. He had urinated on himself and was not cooperative with officers. He was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center and then detox.
11:35 p.m. Officers were called to a report of loud noise and music in the 3100 block of Columbine Drive. A 19-year-old woman was outside with a beer. A 20-year-old man also had been drinking. They were both given summonses for underage possession of alcohol.
