Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:26 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who fell at a nursing home in the 2800 block of Owl Hoot Trail.

3:13 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of loud noise in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive. Tractors were being used to remove snow, and the roads were being scraped. Snow plows are exempt from the noise ordinance.



4:27 a.m. Officers were called to a report of gas stolen from a station in the first block of Anglers Drive. It was a mistake, and the driver returned and paid.

9:29 a.m. Officers were called to a report of someone complaining about a vacation home rental. There were six cars in the driveway and one car in the street.



1:52 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a driver being disruptive and rude at Steamboat Springs High School.

2:35 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious person at Soda Creek Elementary School. A staff member reported there was an older man who looked disoriented. Police contacted a man who fit the description, but he did not seem disoriented.

7:46 p.m. Officers were called to a report of gunshots in the 1000 block of Mountain Village Circle. There was a group of males in a residence. One of them was holding a firearm, and it reportedly accidentally went off and the bullet hit a sliding glass door. A man was issued a summons to appear in municipal court for illegally discharging a firearm.
