Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:02 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of an assault in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue.

9:02 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a $2,700 airplane part stolen from Steamboat Springs Airport.

1:02 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bike stolen from Olympian Hall.

4:55 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza. A suspicious person offered to fix someone’s broken windshield.

6:25 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help with an incident near mile marker seven on Routt County Road 33. A truck was towing a trailer with a cow inside that was going to get weighed. The cow was tied up in the trailer, and the trailer door opened because it was not secured. The cow, which was being raised for a 4-H project, fell out and was dragged for two miles. It died.

8:35 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken man outside a bar in the 700 block of Yampa Street. He was taken to detox.

11:15 p.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a woman hitchhiking with a baby in the 3100 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

11:20 p.m. North Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to a report of a crash near mile marker 20 on Routt County Road 129.
