Police, fire and ambulance calls

1:52 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 2300 block of Ski Trail Lane. Someone had been knocking on a neighbor’s door for 20 minutes.

8:31 a.m. Officers were called to a report of bears getting into trash in the 1300 block of Blue Sage Drive.



9:18 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a car blocking a dumpster in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue. The trash was cleaned up before officers arrived.

9:23 a.m. Officers were called to a report of prescription drugs taken from a trailer in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza.



9:36 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help with a rollover accident at U.S. Highway 40 and Routt County Road 205. The driver was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center with injuries that were not thought to be life-threatening.

11:32 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a car illegally passing at Pine Grove Road and South Lincoln Avenue. It could not be located.

12:31 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car blocking an alley in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.

2:27 p.m. A found driver’s license was turned in at the police station.

2:44 p.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help with a controlled burn that got out of control.

3:03 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a truck that ran a red light at Seventh Street and Lincoln Avenue.

3:36 p.m. Yampa Fire Protection District firefighters were called to a report of a vehicle fire near mile marker 43 on Colorado Highway 131.

4:59 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who had unauthorized charges on a bank account.

5:06 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken man passed out on a bus on Village Drive. The man was awakened, and officers made sure he got home safely.

6:22 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help someone who was bleeding at a hotel in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle.

7:30 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who was having difficulty breathing in the 200 block of South Sharp Avenue.
