5:32 a.m. Officers attempted to contact a woman at Curve Plaza who had been sleeping in her car. The woman drove off when officers approached her.
8:11 a.m. A driver was cited for rear-ending someone stopped in traffic in the 1700 block of Lincoln Avenue.
8:43 a.m. A woman in her late 30s was taken to the hospital from the 2300 block of Ski Trail Lane because she was suffering from a rapid heart rate.
11:11 a.m. Someone reportedly threw an old barbecue and a dog house into a Dumpster in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue.
11:48 a.m. A man in the 1200 block of Copper Ridge Frontage wanted his ex-girlfriend to return a pair of expensive earrings he reportedly loaned her. The woman claimed the earrings were a gift. A report was taken.
1:52 p.m. A man lost his cell phone in the Steamboat area.
3:05 p.m. A 20-year-old Oak Creek woman was arrested in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue for failing to appear in court.
3:39 p.m. Police seized a set of license plates from a car owner in the 1300 block of 13th Street.
3:57 p.m. Officers escorted a funeral procession from west of Steamboat Springs to the cemetery.
4:16 p.m. A woman lost her cell phone in the Steamboat area.
4:19 p.m. A one-vehicle, noninjury rollover was reported on Routt County Road 200.
5:11 p.m. A woman returned a cell phone she found on Weiss Drive to the police department.
5:12 p.m. A woman near Skyview and Chinook lanes was concerned about a group of snowboarders and skiers using a jump to ski over an abandoned bus. A report was taken.
6:35 p.m. A 25-year-old Milner man was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault (domestic violence), obstructing telephone service and criminal mischief. Police said a man reportedly saw the man’s wife holding a child and looking for a pair of car keys the man had thrown in the snow during an argument.
7:31 p.m. Someone reportedly shot out a woman’s window with a BB gun in the 600 block of Hilltop Parkway.
8:27 p.m. Two men reportedly were “throwing punches” in the 1300 block of Walton Creek Road. Officers mediated the situation.
8:45 p.m. A suspicious man reportedly was walking down Colorado Highway 131 north of Oak Creek. The man was gone when officers arrived.
10:07 p.m. Officers warned residents in the 1400 block of Athens Plaza to turn down some loud music.
11:38 p.m. A waitress at a restaurant in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square reportedly followed a 37-year-old woman who did not have identification on her to another bar in the area because she was concerned about someone serving a minor. The woman reportedly did not have her ID on her because her wallet had been stolen. Officers confirmed that the woman was old enough to consume alcohol.
