12:12 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a fight in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police said the people involved were gone when officers arrived.

2:01 a.m. Police and Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to reports of shots fired in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police said someone reportedly was firing a paintball gun from a car. No arrests were made and no significant injuries or property damages were reported.

2:35 a.m. Police were called to a noise complaint in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police issued a warning.



10:08 a.m. Police were called a complaint about an animal in the 1400 block of Conestoga Circle. Police said a dog was shot and killed. They are investigating the incident. See the story on page 1.

10:15 a.m. Steamboat Ski Patrol reported a skier-versus-skier collision in a terrain park at Steamboat Ski Area. No serious injuries were reported.



10:38 a.m. Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a noninjury crash on Colorado Highway 131 in Phippsburg.

11:41 a.m. Police were called a complaint about an animal in the 700 block of Walton Pond Circle.

11:57 a.m. Deputies were called to a complaint about an animal on U.S. Highway 40 near the Steamboat II subdivision. A deputy said reports were received about two dogs on the highway that may have been struck by cars.

12:06 p.m. A police officer was requested in the 800 block of Yampa Avenue. Police said someone came into the police station who was missing a car and wasn’t sure if it had been towed. Police did not issue a stolen vehicle report, likely meaning the car was either found or towed.

12:09 p.m. Police were called to a complaint about an animal on Steamboat Boulevard.

12:26 p.m. Police were called to a two-car, noninjury crash on Ski Time Square Drive at the base of Steamboat Ski Area. Police cited one driver for failure to yield right of way.

1:20 p.m. Police were called to a report of a hit-and-run crash in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. Police said the accident occurred earlier in the day and likely involved a parked car.

2:05 p.m. Domestic violence was reported in Steamboat Springs. Police mediated the verbal dispute.

3:03 p.m. Police were called to a complaint about an animal in the 200 block of Park Avenue.

4:34 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a drunken driver on U.S. 40 near Hayden.

5:19 p.m. Police were called to a car crash in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue.

5:46 p.m. Deputies were called to a complaint about an animal near Hayden.

7:49 p.m. Police were called to a report of theft in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle. Police said a bicycle was stolen.

8:26 p.m. A juvenile situation was reported in Steamboat.

8:57 p.m. Police were called to a complaint about an animal near Tamarack Drive and Fish Creek Falls Road. Police said a car reportedly struck a dog.

9:05 p.m. Deputies were called to a complaint about an animal in the 300 block of South Shelton Lane in Hayden.

10:28 p.m. Harassment was reported in Steamboat.

10:32 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a fight in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle.

10:49 p.m. Police were called to a car crash in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police said a car reportedly struck a cyclist, but police couldn’t find the accident.

11:30 p.m. Police were called to a noise complaint near the 1300 block of Hilltop Parkway.
