1:40 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a theft of items from a truck parked at Rockies Way and Steamboat Boulevard.
2:23 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken person at Seventh and Yampa streets. The person was fine and walked home.
8:49 a.m. Officers were called to a report of criminal mischief in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police said someone had spray painted graffiti on the backside of several businesses.
9:08 a.m. Colorado Division of Parks and Wildlife officers were called to a report of a bear in the 26000 block of Katy Court.
9:10 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a theft of a green trash can from the first block of Maple Street.
10:24 a.m. Officers were called to a report of an assault in the 300 block of South Lincoln Avenue. Police arrested two Steamboat men on suspicion of harassment.
10:28 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a suicide attempt in Steamboat.
4:34 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious person in the 1800 block of Lagoon Court. Police contacted a transient man who was attempting to camp there.
4:46 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 44000 block of Routt County Road 36. No other information was available.
5:15 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car crash at Anglers Drive and South Lincoln Avenue. Police said the driver of a moped was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center with unknown injuries.
6:26 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken woman who was acting strange outside of a hotel in the 3100 block of U.S. Highway 40. Police said they found the 35-year-old woman laying in the grass trying to hide from police by covering herself with branches. Officers said the woman then lied about who she was. As officers attempted to arrest the woman, she attacked them and screamed threats at them. The woman was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault, attempting to influence a public servant, resisting arrest and violating multiple protection orders. Officers were not injured.
6:40 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury car crash at Anglers Drive and South Lincoln Avenue.
7:49 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken person in the 2100 block of Curve Plaza.
10:50 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in the 300 block of Third Street.
11:32 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in the 2600 block of Ski Trail Lane.
