Steamboat Springs — 12:21 a.m. A Steamboat Springs Police Department officer driving near the 900 block of Critter Court saw a garage bay at the school district's bus facility open. An employee was working, and everything was fine.
12:31 a.m. A police officer saw an open door or window at a building near the James Brown Soul Center of the Universe Bridge. Everything was fine.
12:30 a.m. Police were called to a noise complaint in the 1500 block of Shadow Run Frontage. The caller heard a male and female arguing. Police found that it was a disturbance in which an argument had spilled out from a small party. Police spoke to four people and issued a minor in possession ticket to the female party. They took an intoxicated man home and turned him over to a sober roommate. The roommate soon called police and said the intoxicated man was causing a disturbance there, and police took him to detox.
6:31 a.m. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to a vehicle complaint at mile marker 104 of U.S. Highway 40. They issued a warning.
7:59 a.m. Deputies were called to a burglary alarm in the 35000 block of Blazemark Trail.
8:26 a.m. Deputies were called to an animal complaint in the 33000 block of U.S. 40.

8:55 a.m. Police were called to reports of lost property in the 1400 block of South Lincoln Avenue. A Craig resident called to say he or she had lost a wallet at that location, and police took a report.
9:34 a.m. Police and Deputies were called to do a welfare check in the 2700 block of Iris Lane in Steamboat. A woman and a man sustained serious injuries from gunshots. 9:57 a.m. Police were called to reports of illegal dumping or littering on the Yampa River Core Trail. A city employee said someone had been dumping household trash in a bin near the Stock Bridge Transit Center. A code enforcement officer followed up.
9:57 a.m. Police were called to a burglary alarm in the 1800 block of Loggers Lane. The building was secure.
11:08 a.m. Deputies were called to an animal complaint near mile markers 117 and 118 of U.S. 40. The animal was gone when they arrived.
11:30 a.m. Deputies were called to an animal complaint in the 33000 block of Routt County Road 43A.
11:58 a.m. Hayden Police Department officers were called to reports of vandalism in the 500 block of West Jefferson Avenue.
12:19 p.m. Steamboat police were called to an animal complaint in the 1200 block of Sparta Plaza where a person said a neighbor's dog had been barking all morning. Animal control officers warned the dog's owner.
12:40 p.m. Deputies were called to reports of an abandoned vehicle at mile marker 12 of C.R. 33.
12:40 p.m. Deputies and Hayden police were called to reports of a disturbance in the 11000 block of C.R. 51A.
2:05 p.m. Deputies were called to a vehicle complaint at mile marker 59 of Colorado Highway 131.
2:15 p.m. Deputies were called to do a civil standby in the 21000 block of U.S. 40 in Milner.
2:25 p.m. Colorado Division of Wildlife officials were called to reports of a bear in the 6500 block of Stewart Lane in Hayden.
3:20 p.m. Police were called to a burglary alarm in the 1100 block of Hilltop Parkway. The building was secure.
4:42 p.m. Deputies were called to reports of an abandoned vehicle at C.R. 22 and Colo. 131.
5:09 p.m. Police were called to do a welfare check in the first block of Anglers Drive. A Meals on Wheels employee was concerned that a resident had not picked up meals from outside a home. The person had just returned from the hospital, and everything was fine.
5:11 p.m. Hayden police were called to do a civil standby in the 400 block of East Washington Avenue.
5:34 p.m. Hayden police were called to reports of harassment in the 400 block of West Jackson Avenue.
6:08 p.m. Deputies were called to an animal complaint in the 33000 block of Emerald Meadows Drive.
6:23 p.m. Deputies and Hayden police were called to reports of a disturbance in the 600 block of East Jefferson Avenue in Hayden. The disturbance was verbal, and a 49-year-old Hayden man was arrested on suspicion of violation a protection order.
7:23 p.m. Steamboat police received a report of a drunken driver in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. An officer in the area stopped a driver at Hilltop Parkway near South Lincoln Avenue and arrested the 59-year-old Steamboat man on suspicion of driving under the influence and weaving.
7:49 p.m. Police were called to reports of a disturbance in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. A woman was angry that a large truck had parked close to her car and that she couldn't enter the driver's side door. The woman, who police said was in town for a Triple Crown Sports event, became furious and was holding a baseball bat and threatening to pound on the truck. A man in a restaurant came outside and started yelling at her, telling her it was his truck and that he wouldn't move it and invited her to pound on it, police said. The two were yelling back and forth when another man left a store, entered the truck and started to pull out of the space. The woman realized the first man was not the truck's owner and confronted the man in the truck. Officers mediated the situation and issued a warning.
9:08 p.m. Deputies were called to a wreck at mile marker 59 of Colo. 131. No more information was available.
9:57 p.m. Steamboat police were called to a juvenile situation. A caller reported that juveniles on the west end of town were pretending they had a rope stretched across the highway and trying to stop cars. They were gone when officers arrived.
10:26 p.m. Division of Wildlife officials were called to reports of a bear in the 1400 block of Pine Grove Road.
10:33 p.m. Police were called to a report of theft in the first block of Seventh Street. A man reported that his bicycle was stolen from outside a bar. Police took a report, but when the officers drove away, they saw a bicycle matching the description locked up at another location nearby. They called and told the man where his bicycle was.
11:21 p.m. Hayden police and deputies were called to reports of theft in the 300 block of Jefferson Avenue.
