Steamboat Springs — 8:19 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a request for an officer in the 2900 block of West Acres Drive where a person accused a woman of stealing keys to a property. Officers mediated the situation.
8:36 a.m. Police were called to a report of a disturbance in the 100 block of 10th Street where a person at Steamboat Springs City Hall reportedly was unhappy about a water bill. Officers mediated the situation.
9:46 a.m. Police were called to a complaint about two dogs loose in the 3300 block of Columbine Drive. The dogs were gone when a code enforcement officer arrived.
10:11 a.m. Police were called to a report of a burglary alarm in the 1800 block of Loggers Lane. The alarm was set off by employee error.
10:15 a.m. Police were called to a complaint about a dog barking in the 100 block of Missouri Avenue. Animal control officers responded.
10:55 a.m. Police were called to a report of three juveniles smoking marijuana at Steamboat Springs High School, in the first block of East Maple Street. Officers gave the juveniles tickets for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.

10:59 a.m. Police were called to a report of a semi trailer broken down in the construction zone at Lincoln Avenue near Third Street. Construction workers pulled the truck from traffic lanes.
11:07 a.m. Police were called to a complaint about a dog loose and charging at people at Pitkin Street and Manitou Avenue. Officers left a note with the dog's owner.
11:56 a.m. Police were called to a report of a cold report of a shoplifter in the first block of Ninth Street where a book worth $28 reportedly was stolen. Officers talked to the suspect Wednesday, and the person returned to the store and paid for the book.
12:19 p.m. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to check on horses in the 31000 block of Routt County Road 35.
12:28 p.m. Police were called to a report of a suspicious car on Delta Queen Court with windows broken out. The car was gone when officers arrived, and officers later determined that the car belongs to a worker.
12:40 p.m. Police responded to a two-car, noninjury crash between two patrol cars in the 800 block of Yampa Street.
1:42 p.m. Police were called to a report of a possible theft of a handgun from a car in Central Park Plaza. The owners of the car had been traveling and were not sure where the gun was stolen.
1:44 p.m. Police were called to a complaint about a dog loose at Seventh Street and Lincoln Avenue. The dog was gone when officers arrived.
1:54 p.m. Police were called to a report of a burglary alarm in the 1100 block of Memphis Belle Court. The alarm was set off by landscapers.
2:57 p.m. Police were called to a complaint about two dogs loose on Spring Creek Trail. The dogs were taken to the Steamboat Springs Animal Shelter.
4:34 p.m. Police were called to a report of a disturbance on Whistler Road where a person reportedly heard slamming and shouting. Officers determined that the noises were from a man and a woman moving a washing machine, and the machine was dropped on the woman's foot.
4:35 p.m. Police were called to help the All Crimes Enforcement Team with an arrest of a 27-year-old Phoenix man on suspicion of distribution of drugs and money laundering on Anglers Drive.
6:28 p.m. Police arrested a 22-year-old Steamboat Springs man on suspicion of driving under revocation, failure to signal a turn, no seat belt and no registration after a traffic stop at Hill and Laurel streets.
8:40 p.m. Police were called to a complaint about a dog barking for two hours in the 300 block of Ninth Street. Officers determined that the homeowner was not home, and the homeowner contacted the people who were taking care of the dog.
10:40 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders and police were called to a request for an ambulance in the Whistler Road area. Medical crews took a 45-year-old man with chest pain to Yampa Valley Medical Center.
10:47 p.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue were called to a request to check on a reportedly intoxicated person in a parking structure in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle. Officers took the man to detox and later arrested the 26-year-old Steamboat man on suspicion of violation of bail bond conditions.
10:55 p.m. Police were called to a report of a suspicious car on Hunters Drive parked and flashing its lights. The car was driving away when it was reported, and officers could not find it when they arrived.
