6:02 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear at Mount Werner Road and South Lincoln Avenue.

7:52 a.m. Officers were called to a report of property found at the Stock Bridge Transit Center.



8:41 a.m. Officers were called to a report of property found at the Stock Bridge Transit Center.

8:51 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury accident in the 2200 block of Curve Plaza.



10:34 a.m. North Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to a report of smoke near Seedhouse Road. A tree had been hit by lightning and U.S. Forest Service firefighters responded.

12:12 p.m. North Routt firefighters were called to help a person that fell in the 61100 block of Routt County Road 129.

1 p.m. Officers were called to a report of property found at Yampa and Ninth streets.

1:33 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury crash in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

1:36 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person having an allergic reaction in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue.

1:39 p.m. Officers were called to a report of fraud in the 600 block of Pine Street.

1:57 p.m. Officers were called to a report of property found in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle.

2:01 p.m. Routt County Search and Rescue volunteers were called to help a hiker who hurt himself after falling from a rock on Emerald Mountain. The man was able to get down on his own and family members took him to Yampa Valley Medical Center.

3:07 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of trespassing at a foreclosed home on Roselawn Avenue in Yampa.

3:11 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury accident at Walton Creek Road and South Lincoln Avenue.

4:08 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a reckless driver near mile marker 50 on Colorado Highway 131.

4:22 p.m. Officers were called to a report of property lost in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

4:26 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of someone driving away without paying for gas in the 35700 block of U.S. Highway 40.

5:12 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help with a tree that fell between two trailers in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza.

5:24 p.m. Yampa Fire Protection District firefighters were called to a report of a tree that had been struck by lightning and was on fire on C.R. 1.

6:46 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of an assault at a bar in the 200 block of Moffat Avenue. Two bartenders got into a fight Wednesday, and the incident is under investigation.

9:47 p.m. Officers were called to a report of property lost in Steamboat.

10:15 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noise complaint in the 1600 block of Natches Way.

11:16 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance at a bar in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.

11:47 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to a report of a tree on fire in the 40700 block of C.R. 36. The tree had been struck by lightning, and the fire was put out.
