2:25 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a complaint of people talking loud and being noisy in the 1200 block of Mountain Village Circle. The officers reported there was no noise at the location when they arrived.

8:07 a.m. Officers were called to a report of found property in the 1600 block of Red Hawk Court. Someone found a cowboy hat, a cellphone and $5 in their front yard and turned them in.

1:46 p.m. Officers were called downtown to a report of a theft in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. A shop clerk reported several teenage girls had shoplifted a T-shirt. Officers found the girls and turned them over to their parents. The girls returned the shirt to the store.

6:25 p.m. Officers were called to a report of shoplifting in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. A woman was seen trying to steal a bag of dog food. Officers contacted her, and she was given a ticket.

10:22 p.m. Officers were called to a fight at the intersection of Eighth and Oak streets. People were arguing but had dispersed by the time officers arrived. One of the arguers was tracked down, however, and told police it was just a verbal argument and everything was OK.

11:09 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 600 block of Tamarack Drive. Someone saw a driver they thought was drunk get in a truck and drive away. Officers couldn’t locate the vehicle.
