12:23 a.m. A taxi driver in the 800 block of Larimer Street reported a woman couldn’t pay her taxi fare because her credit card could not be processed. A member of the woman’s family paid the fare.
2:17 a.m. A resident in the 1700 block of Timothy Drive reported that an intoxicated man who had just gotten off a bus walked into his house. The resident got the unwanted man out of his house, but the man stood at the front door asking to come in. Officers took the intoxicated man for detoxification.
2:22 a.m. Officers reportedly tried to contact residents in the 2900 block of Whistler Road about loud music. The residents did not answer the door, but they turned the music down while the officers were standing outside.
7:24 a.m. A 12-year-old boy in the 2300 block of AprÃs Ski Way reportedly was having an asthma attack. They boy did not need to be taken to the hospital.
8:10 a.m. A man in the 3300 block of Willowbrook Inset reported a band bus parked on the wrong side of the street and facing the wrong way. The bus was given a ticket.
8:27 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported near Lincoln Avenue and Shield Drive.
9:11 a.m. A woman near Village Drive and Walton Creek Road reported a driver pulling out in front of cars. Officers could not find the driver.
10:43 a.m. A man reported losing his driver’s license in the 1200 block of Sparta Plaza.
11:52 a.m. A woman in the 600 block of Anglers Drive reportedly was holding a knife and threatening to hurt herself. The woman later locked herself in a bathroom. When officers arrived, they took the woman to be evaluated by mental health officials.
12:42 p.m. A man in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue reported being given a fraudulent traveler’s check.
1:26 p.m. A woman in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue reported seeing a dog eating out of a trashcan and strewing the trash across the parking lot. The dog was taken to the animal shelter.
1:50 p.m. A man on McKinley Street reportedly had to pull his knife on a vicious dog to keep the dog from attacking.
3:07 p.m. A woman in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue reported that her 3-year-old child had locked her out of her car. Officers helped the woman get back into the car.
3:17 p.m. A 23-year-old woman near Larimer Street and Missouri Avenue reportedly was possibly having a seizure. The woman was taken to the hospital.
4:01 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in the 800 block of Yampa Street.
4:01 p.m. A woman in the 2000 block of Village Inn Court reported being kicked by someone in a concert crowd. Officers found the man accused of kicking the woman and gave him a warning.
4:12 p.m. A Steamboat Springs Transit bus driver in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue reported three juveniles throwing snowballs at the bus.
4:20 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported near Walton Creek Road and AprÃs Ski Way.
4:52 p.m. A man in the 2400 block of Lincoln Avenue reportedly followed his landlord, parked behind her when she stopped and threatened her because she would not renew his lease. Officers mediated the situation.
5:25 p.m. A woman in the 1800 block of Elk River Plaza reported lending a company vehicle to an employee so he could get home safely Wednesday night. When the employee had not shown up for work the next morning, she called his parents. The man’s parents told the woman he had wrecked the car that night and had left to go to work at 6 a.m. The damaged car later was found in a parking lot.
6:19 p.m. An unattended vehicle in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive reportedly rolled into another car. A report was taken.
8:26 p.m. A man in the 1400 block of Lincoln Avenue reported losing his drivers license and credit card.
8:55 p.m. A loud delivery truck reportedly was parked outside a hotel in the 3100 block of Ingles Lane. Another business in the area was arguing with hotel staff about the loud truck. Officers mediated the situation.
10:19 p.m. A 24-year-old man was arrested in the lower Gondola Square area on suspicion of stealing about $700 from the concert tent at which he was bartending.
11:14 p.m. Someone in the 2300 block of AprÃs Ski Way reported a man knocking on people’s doors.
11:34 p.m. A Steamboat Springs Transit bus driver reported seeing an intoxicated person stumbling around in the 1500 block of Lincoln Avenue. The bus driver told police he would keep an eye on the man. Officers contacted the man near Conestoga Lane.
