Steamboat Springs — 2:30 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a suspicious car occupied by two people on Clear Water Trail.
5:05 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of a car that hit an elk at Routt County Road 51 and U.S. Highway 40.
7:39 a.m. Police were called to a report of two huge elk next to a child drop-off area in the 2800 block of Village Drive.
7:47 a.m. Police were called to a report of a gas skip valued at $35.99 in the 900 block of Weiss Drive. Police could not find the car.
8:09 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of elk along the road in the 40000 block of Steamboat Drive.
9:12 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a person who thought the travel program he signed up for was a scam in the 30000 block of Lindley Lane in Clark.
9:56 a.m. Police were called to a report of a car parked incorrectly at Yampa and 11th streets.
10:53 a.m. Animal control officers took a loose dog into custody in the 100 block of 10th Street. The owner was given a ticket.
11:26 a.m. Police were called to a report of a loose dog in the 2500 block of Val D’Isere Circle. They were unable to locate the dog.
12:23 p.m. Deputies responded to a report of a loose dog at C.R. 17 and Maricopa Trail.
12:26 p.m. Deputies responded to a report of a car that slid off the road on C.R. 212 in Oak Creek.
1:05 p.m. Police were called to a report of a van parked in an alley in the 1000 block of Yampa Street.
2:56 p.m. Police were called to a report of a car following too closely and its driver flipping the middle finger at people at Eighth and Oak streets. The driver was issued a warning.
3:21 p.m. Police were called to a report of a woman who lost a wallet containing credit cards in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue.
3:26 p.m. Animal control officers were called to a report of a barking dog at Soda Ridge Way and 12th Street. The owner was issued a warning.
5:22 p.m. Police were called to a report of a $400 snowboard that was stolen in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle.
5:39 p.m. Police were called to a report of two elk near U.S. 40.
6:37 p.m. Police were called to a report of a car littering debris on U.S. 40.
9:47 p.m. Police helped a disabled car at U.S. 40 and Old Fish Creek Falls Road.
